What do I do if I need special assistance at GSX?

What is the cost to attend GSX?

Registration fees vary depending on your membership status and various packages that are available. View registration packages.

Do I have to pay if I only want to walk the exhibit hall?

Expo-only registration is free for ASIS members. Nonmembers can register for free in advance or $75 onsite.

Are the keynotes included with exhibit hall registration?

Keynotes are not included in the expo-only pass, except for the Thursday morning keynote, which is open to all participants.

Is there a separate fee to attend pre-conference programs?

Yes, there is a separate registration fee for each pre-conference program.

How do I register to attend?

I am traveling from outside the United States and need a letter of invitation. How do I get one?

To receive a letter of invitation, you must first register for GSX. Your letter will be available in your registration dashboard after you complete the process. Your registration fees will be refunded if the visa was applied for in time and proof is shown that a visa could not be granted even though all requested documents were submitted. Refund requests must be made in writing and sent with the proof to GSX 2019 Registration, by email, no later than 23 August 2019. Refund requests received after that date will not be accepted.

Do I have to be an ASIS International member to attend GSX?

No, you do not have to be an ASIS International to attend GSX. However, ASIS members do receive discounted registration rates. Learn more about becoming an ASIS member.

Are government rates available?

Yes, government rates are available on All-Access and One-Day Passes for local, state, federal, or national government employees. You must present a valid government or military photo ID when picking up your badge onsite. If you do not have a photo ID, you will be charged the onsite nonmember rate.

Can students attend GSX?

Yes, students who are members of ASIS International register for a complimentary All-Access Pass, which includes access to all conference sessions and the exhibit hall—plus access to all conference recordings (reception and luncheon tickets can be purchased separately). You must present a valid student ID when picking up your badge onsite. If you do not have a valid ID, you will be charged the onsite nonmember rate.

Can I bring my children with me to GSX?

No one under the age of 16 will be admitted in the exhibit hall or in classrooms. Anyone over the age of 16 must have an official GSX 2019 badge.

What is the cancellation policy?

To receive a refund, all cancellation requests must be made in writing and submitted to GSX 2019 Registration, 888.887.8072, +1.972.349.7452, or asis@wyndhamjade.com no later than 9 August, 2019. All cancellations are subject to a $100 administrative fee. New registrations and cancellation requests received after 9 August 2019 are non-refundable. Expo-only passes are non-transferable. Ticketed events are non-refundable.

ASIS International will review special requests for refunds after GSX 2019 and no later than 8 November 2019. ASIS retains the right to determine what constitutes an emergency situation, if additional supporting documentation is required, and if a refund will be given, and ASIS’ decision will be final. Special requests for refunds submitted after 8 November 2019 will not be considered.  ASIS will not refund due to travel carrier cancellations or other unforeseen incidents beyond attendees’ control. All attendees are urged to purchase personal travel insurance.

Can I share my badge with another attendee or exhibitor?

Attendees and exhibitors may NOT exchange, give, trade, or sell their GSX badge to anyone. Anyone found in violation of this policy will be immediately removed from the convention center and no refund for registration fees paid will be provided.

Do you offer shuttle service to/from the convention center?

When you book your room through the official GSX housing block, you will receive a free shuttle bus pass for service between the convention center to official hotels. Passes can also be purchased onsite for $50. Please check back for the shuttle bus schedule.

Please note: MCI is the only official housing provider for GSX 2019. For your own protection, please do not make reservations through any unknown housing or travel company.

What should I wear?

Business/business casual attire and comfortable walking shoes are recommended in educational sessions and the exhibit hall. For the Opening Night Celebration and President’s Reception, casual or business casual attire is recommended.

​How can I reserve a booth?

To reserve a booth at GSX 2019, review the current floor plan and select an available booth location. Once you’ve selected a booth, complete the exhibit space application, located on the right-hand side of the floor plan. If you have questions or need assistance, please contact your event sales manager.

If you are a returning exhibitor, please contact your event sales manager to retrieve your booking code.

Who can I talk to about reserving my booth?

Are children allowed in the exhibit hall?

No one under the age of 16 will be admitted in the exhibit hall or in classrooms.

What is the cancellation policy?

If a booth is cancelled before 2 April 2019, 50% of the total booth cost is due as penalty. If the booth is cancelled after 2 April 2019, 100% of the total booth cost is due as penalty.

How do I register my booth staff?

Exhibitors will need to log in to their Exhibitor Dashboard, where you will find an Exhibitor Registration tile. Click on this tile to access the registration website where you can register your booth staff.

Do exhibitors receive complimentary badges?

Exhibitors receive 8 booth personnel badges per 10’x10’.

How do I book a hotel room for my exhibit staff?

To book hotel rooms, log in to your Exhibitor Dashboard, where you will find an Exhibitor Housing tile. Click on this tile to access the exhibitor housing website where you can select your hotel and quantity of rooms needed.
