Which sessions will have translation available? |
Translation will be offered for General Sessions, Game Changers, and three select All-Access education sessions. We will indicate which sessions offer translation in the GSX agenda and app. You can find which session by selecting “Translations Available” under “Session Tracks”. |
What languages will be offered? |
Translation will be available in over 60 languages. The full list of available languages is here. |
How do I access the translation during a session? |
Use your device to scan the QR code in the room. You will then select your language, and the live captions will appear on your device. There is an option to enable audio translation as well. You can start, stop, and change languages as needed. Note: the captions are live only. Anything presented before you enable the translation will not be available to read back. |
Is there an extra cost for translation services? |
No, translation services for the selected sessions are included with your All-Access registration. |
Do I need to reserve translation services in advance? |
No, advance reservations are not required. |
Can I use my own device for translation? |
Yes, you must use your smartphone or tablet to enable translations. Audio is available, so please bring your own headphones. |
Will translation be available for Digital GSX sessions? |
Translation will be offered for livestreamed General Sessions, Game Changers, and the two concurrent All-Access education sessions. Translation will not be available for the livestreamed stage sessions. |
What if I don’t see translation listed for a session I want to attend? |
Translation is available only for select sessions this year. If demand is high, we may expand services in the future. |
