Certification Review Programs: CPP, PCI, PSP

Saturday, 22 September and Sunday, 23 September

A robust “boot camp” style learning experience led by board-certified instructors, each of the GSX classroom programs—covering either the Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Professional Certified Investigator (PCI), or Physical Security Professional (PSP)—provide a high-level review of the security concepts tested on the certification exam. You will be able to identify areas of strength and weakness to confidently know where to focus your study, as well as build relationships with peers and board-certified instructors. If you’re planning to take the CPP, PCI, or PSP certification exam in the future, a review class could be an important part of your study preparation.

Please note: The reviews are intended as a review only of the general principles and subjects of the security discipline. Actual exam questions are not discussed.

The ESRM Lifecycle and Convergence of Physical and Cybersecurity

Sunday, 23 September | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

This one-day program introduces you to the basics of ESRM and how the overall life-cycle functions to engage security as a true business partner to their enterprise executives. Interact as part of a team with several ESRM and convergence leaders, discussing a critical question of the ESRM approach—does ESRM require the convergence of physical and cyber security? Two panel discussions cover various aspects of ESRM and convergence in several leading security programs, exploring how each concept impacts the security manager’s role, and how the concepts differ from, and complement, each other. A live simulation of the ESRM lifecycle and a hands-on team exercise help you apply the knowledge learned.
